I thought I was smart until...

Hey Reader,

My 13-year-old daughter is learning linear equations, slope, translations, and all kinds of other stuff that makes me go:

And, watching her go through the tutorials, I've noticed that there’s a major difference between reading something (consuming information) and actually knowing how to apply it in real life.

It got me thinking; that’s kinda like how it was when I first started out learning how to use herbs and essential oils. I would read something in a book or watch an online video, but I still wouldn’t know how to apply what I was learning.

It’s one thing to read about how to make an onion poultice for a nagging, productive cough, but applying that knowledge was tricky (how long do I cook the onion for? What’s the best way to apply it to the chest? How long do I leave it on? What should I expect afterward?) You know, how all this knowledge applies in real life when the rubber meets the road.

Consuming information was great and all, until I realized the major gaps that left me with more questions than answers.

Have you ever felt like that Reader?

And just like my husband (bless his math brain) has been explaining, answering questions, and teaching my daughter not only to understand but how to apply complex math, I think the same is true with herbs/EOs.

A guide helps you go from consuming information to practical know-how and application of what you’re learning.

Information + Application = Experience and confidence.

So, I’m curious, Reader, what’s your next step with your herbal learning?

Do you have information (knowledge) about herbs and essential oils and want to focus on applying that knowledge in everyday life? Check out my coaching packages to see how we can work together to increase your practical know how.

Or, are you just starting and want some help figuring out where to focus your efforts and what to learn first? Check out my 90 minute call where we’ll help you figure out where to start with herbs and how to set yourself up for success!

I’d love to support you so you can have both the knowledge and application to build your herbal experience and confidence.

With love and Chamomile,

ps: what was your favorite subject in school Reader? Mine was anything science related! A&P all the way 🩻🫀🫁

Hey Reader! As essential oils become increasingly popular and people turn to natural remedies and alternatives to conventional medicine, the #1 question I get asked from my clients and my community is how to find the best essential oil brands. So, what are some green lights (and potential red flags) for essential oil brands? And what are some reputable brands? 🟢Green Lights🟢: Transparent marketing, even if they include terms like “certified therapeutic grade” or “100% Pure” they state on...

hey Reader! It took me years to realize that my physical space deeply impacted my mood and overall well-being. And as an introvert and homebody, I love being at home. But I didn't realize that when I was at home, I felt like something wasn't right. There was too much clutter, it didn't flow functionally, and it didn't feel like a sanctuary. Not only that, but I never felt like having people over because I was embarrassed by how small it was, how much clutter we had, and that it didn't have a...

Hey Reader! I'm on vacation this week, enjoying the dry heat of eastern Washington, lazy days paddle boarding, and drinking Okanogan wine. It's been fun to get away from my regular routine and embrace (mostly) true relaxation. It's been easier to relax knowing that I prepared a natural travel first aid kit to help keep my family healthy. I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at what's inside my travel first aid kit (and I'll be writing a more in-depth post on my blog in the coming weeks as...
